Hi. I'm Erin.

ABOUT ERIN

And I want to tell you something most coaches won't say on their About page.

I didn't have it figured out. Not even close.

For a long time I was the woman who handled everything. Capable. Reliable. Responsible. And quietly running on empty.

I wasn't miserable, exactly. But I wasn't fully alive either.

I had mastered doing. I had not mastered choosing.

There’s a big difference between the two.

MY STORY

When Everything Fell Apart.

After a traumatic divorce, I was finally starting to find my footing again. Slowly rebuilding. Getting my act together.

And then my parents died. Seventeen days apart. Unexpectedly.

I went from slowly finding my way to barely functioning almost overnight.

Grief has a way of stripping everything down to what is essential. Standing in that loss I had to face something I had been avoiding for years.

I had been living by default. Not by design.

THE THING THAT SAVED ME

I didn’t start with therapy. I didn’t journal my way out.

I went rock climbing.

And for the first time in my adult life, possibly my entire life, the voices in my head went quiet.

You know those voices. The ones that talk over each other reminding you to book the pediatrician appointment, pay the water bill, return that phone call, figure out dinner, check on your kids, worry about having said the wrong thing in that last meeting…

But when you’re on a rock wall, the voices go quiet. Your focus narrows to one simple question: Where do I put my foot next so I don’t fall?

And in that forced, fierce presence? I could finally breathe.

That quiet changed everything. It started me on a different path. A path toward alignment.

The first time the noise stopped.

WHAT CLIMBING TAUGHT ME

Climbing demanded courage. And that courage started bleeding into the rest of my life. I started saying no to things that had no business being on my plate. I started asking for what I needed. I started trusting my own instincts instead of second-guessing every decision.

It also put everything in perspective. Workplace drama felt a lot less catastrophic after you've had your shoulder shoved in a crack at dusk while bats started waking up around you.

I started paying attention to what drained me and what energized me. I began protecting my energy and building boundaries, slowly and imperfectly, but intentionally.

My parents' deaths reminded me of something I had always known but never fully accepted. Time is finite. We don't get to rewind. We don't get to wait for someday. We get this life and we get to decide how we lead it.

That truth made staying stuck unbearable.

What courage does over time.

The question that changed everything.

THE MOMENT I FINALLY GOT HONEST

My job eventually went sideways. And because I had tasted what alignment felt like, living out of it was absolutely miserable.

But I stayed. And complained. And stayed some more.

On New Year's Eve 2022, after a day of rock climbing, I was sitting in a friend's truck. I had been venting about my job, my boss, how stuck I felt. One long spiral of everything that was wrong.

When I finally paused, he looked at me and said:

I didn’t have an answer. Not one.

A little over a year later, I had left my career, relocated to the Pacific Northwest, and became a Certified High Performance Coach. A close friend told me I changed more in that one year than in the 20 years she had known me combined.

That is what clarity does. That is what I want for you. Not the slow version. The fast one.

Okay, Erin. I’ve heard everything you don’t want. What DO you want?

I don't want you to spend the next decade slowly inching toward a life that actually feels like yours.

I want you to get there faster. Not because I'll hand you a map, but because the right questions asked inside a structured and intentional space cut through the noise faster than anything else I've found.

Time is finite. Losing my parents made that undeniably real.

We get this life. And we get to decide how we lead it.

I spent years slowly waking up. Coaching helped me change at warp speed.

A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME

I've climbed Half Dome twice and summited Kilimanjaro. I find clarity in wild places and I bring that same instinct for what is essential into every coaching conversation.

I have two incredible daughters who remind me every day why this work matters.

I believe boundaries are an act of leadership, not selfishness.

Clarity and Alignment Coach certified through the High Performance Institute.

I create safe space. And I will challenge you inside it. Because real growth requires both.

My full name is Erin Kelly McGee, but my mom would call me Erin Kelly when I was pushing boundaries. And I still am.

Beyond the credentials.
